John Travolta, an accomplished pilot famously owns five aircraft, including a 138 seat Boeing 707. He parks it on his estate on Greystone airport, Florida, which he can access from his house.

The 61 year old Jackie Chan is the proud owner of this $30m Embraer Challenger 650 complete with red and yellow dragon and his own personal logo on the tail.

Roman Abramovich’s Boeing 767

When a private jet just doesn’t quite cut it, the next best thing is a £55m personalised Boeing 767. Pocket change compared to his £1.5bn mega yacht, which is now only the world’s second largest privately owned yacht. The private man of football, Mr Abramovich’s 767 can often be seen parked at Luton airport, not far from London where he now spends most of his time.

As one of the most stylish fashion brands in the world, and synonymous with the colour black it’s not really surprising to learn they also own one of the most stylish private jets as well. The Gulfstream G450 is finished in a rare matt black, usually only seen on military or stealth aircraft.

Slightly faster than his AMG F1 Mercedes is Lewis Hamilton’s unique blood red and black Challenger 605, with personal registration LCDH, Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton. With a cruising speed of 550 miles per hour and a range of over 4600 miles the current F1 champion uses his $27m jet to travel to most Grands Prix around the world.
