Day trip to Moet & Chandon cellars

Last year we helped one of our event agency clients with a fantastic trip to France for a day of Champagne tasting and lunch at the world famous cellars of Moet & Chandon.  Our group left Luton after a leisurely breakfast, on a super cool Citation XLS which whisked them away to Chalons Vatry in just under an hour. In stunning surroundings the group spent the day tasting the finest Champagnes and sampling some exquisite cuisine before being flown back in style all before dinner time.

This got us thinking… Where else could offer the chance to visit in a day and be back in time to put the kids to bed?  So along similar lines, we thought, what about wine tasting Barcelona. On horseback! Barcelona offers the opportunity to visit Catalunya wine country within a very small radius. Some of the top-rated vineyards in the world are located within 90 minutes from the city centre, and there is one, Denominación de Origen, Do Alella, a mere 20 minutes away! Many vineyards offer guests the chance to tour the picturesque estates by horseback.

Wine tasting in stunning surroundings followed by delicious tapas under the Spanish sun, all in a day’s work! What’s not to like about that! And once all the wine has been sampled and the last of the jamón ibérico has been finished, you can relax knowing you still have the excitement of your own luxurious private jet to fly you back home in only 2 hours!
