Jackpot lottery win, socialising with friends and sausages for dinner!
My role within Air Charter is to initially liaise with clients and then to identify requirements and source not only suitable but competitive solutions to match their charter specifications. Being brought up in an ‘aviation family’, this route seemed to be the natural choice. The ‘ad-hoc’ nature of the charter business was appealing as no two days are ever the same and you can’t beat that smell of aviation fuel!
If you were given £1m what would you spend it on?
A Lamborghini & following Slash, Thunder & AC/DC round the globe – VIP tickets of course!
What is your favourite aircraft?
Lockheed L1049G Super Constellation – Most beautiful machine EVER made by human hand.
When you’re not fixing flights for Air Charter what are you doing?
Playing or coaching football, gardening or hanging around an airport somewhere in the world!
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
Driving round the US & Canada in an RV, Cage dive with Great Whites off the South African Coast and Walking Safari in Africa (closely followed by seeing Tigers in India)
Who are your top 4 dinner party guests?
Richard Burton, Saul Hudson (aka Slash), Jeremy Clarkson & Winston Churchill (or Maggie Thatcher – Couldn’t make my mind up)
What do you think is the greatest invention?
TV Remote Control.
My parents have worked in aviation for most of their lives and my interest was sparked at a young age. My role is hugely varied. As an aircraft broker I work very closely with both clients and operators ultimately ensuring our clients always get what they need. In a nutshell trying to keep everyone happy. No easy task!

What do you think is the greatest invention?
iPad
Having worked in the Aviation world for Monarch Airlines for nearly 30 years, from sorting out many AOG’s in Operations to travelling on various VIP flights including X3 around the world trips, the chance to work @ Air Charter and set up exclusive Ad-Hoc flying for our clients is an honour. I am looking forward to bringing my worldwide operational experience into the Business.

Pay off the Mortgage and buy a Fairline 50, ( If enough change )
What is your favourite aircraft?
Concorde – Wish I could of shown my children her flying.

Coaching my Sons football team and spending time with family.

Take family on world cruise / F1 grand Prix / Ringside at World Heavyweight Title fight.

I have always had a passion for the aviation industry, and was lucky enough to work for Air2000 and Virgin in my younger days as cabin crew. So this really is my perfect job, working for Air Charter, a truly unique and exciting charter company, with my feet firmly on the ground, but yet I can still feel the buzz of it all! My role at Air Charter is to keep on top of the finances, working closely with the team, ensuring all their records and reports are kept up to date and are accurate.
What is your favourite aircraft?
Concorde.
At which store would you like to max-out your credit card?
Harrods.
What are three things still left on your bucket list?
An Ibiza weekender with the girls, Safari with elephants and a road-trip across the USA in an RV.

Del Boy, Rodney, Grandad and Trigger.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
By the Sea.
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Florida.
This is my second stint at Air Charter after a long break in the airline industry having previously worked for Emirates, Virgin, British Midland, Gatwick Handling and having my daughter. I love working with the team here who are so dedicated in making a difference in the work they do. My job is to try and keep the office ship shape and look after the administrative side of things as well as baking a mean Victoria sponge!!
If you were given £1m what would you spend it on?
New house with land, stables and 2 horses.
What is your favourite aircraft?
Emirates A380.
What would be in your dream sandwich?
Lobster cooked in garlic butter, rocket and a little bit of mayo.
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
To fly.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Hillside Beach Club, Fethiye in Turkey.
I started my career in 1999 as an Aircraft Dispatcher looking after the safe turnrounds of passenger and cargo aircraft. I then moved into airline operations working for Monarch Airlines for 13 years. I also had the pleasure of travelling the world on various VIP charters ensuring all goes to plan. My role within the Air Charter team as a broker is sourcing aircraft and negotiating with operators to ensure our clients get the best possible personal service and keep them coming back!
If you were given £1m what would you spend it on?
A once in a lifetime family holiday travelling the world.
What is your favourite aircraft?
Got to be the Boeing 757, there will never be an aircraft like it.
What would be in your dream sandwich?
Lovely thick bacon and an egg with brown sauce...!
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
Fly! It’s in my blood!
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Goa, the country, people and sunsets are amazing.
What could you not live without?
Red wine…(Don’t judge me…)
After leaving the Aviation Industry after 33 years to try something different, being given the opportunity to join Air Charter and work with people with collective knowledge in Aviation of over 175 years was a no brainer!
I guess that must make us all sound old, but think of the experience that brings!
What is your favourite aircraft?
The mighty TriStar. I’d never flown on one so made a point of booking a Delta flight that they were scheduled on. Sure enough, it went tech and a B767-200 turned up!
If you were given £1m what would you spend it on?
A portfolio of investment properties, Luton Town FC season tickets, a few private jet charters, and a Rover P5.
What would be in your dream sandwich?
Well, according to the Internet; sourdough with smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, mayonnaise, brown mustard, red onion, crisp lettuce, and juicy tomato slices.
If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
Perfect recollection.
Where is your favourite holiday destination?
Too many places still to explore, but you can’t beat the Canary Islands for guaranteed sun.
What could you not live without?
Sunshine and music.
